February Club Day - The Annual Picnic
Once again we were blessed with perfect weather for our annual picnic at Ros and Dave Mandeno‘s place at Glenbervie.

The afternoon‘s festivities ended at about 5:30 pm.
Thanks go to the Mandenos, to Ray Palmer and the Big Band and to the members of the committee who organised the event.

Once again we will be back at Salut Bar and Brasserie, 69 Bank Street. The band will be Lounge Sweet. The line-up will be Matt Watson [trumpet & Fluegelhorn], Reese Helmondollar [tenor & soprano saxophones], Barry Wilcox [piano], John Fraser [bass] and Matt Hennessy [drums].
The last set will be open for jamming with the band.
April Club Day
The gig for April will be organised by Joe Carbery.
Advanced Notice
We plan to hold the Annual General Meeting of the Society in May.
The Members‘ Draw
A reminder about the members‘ draw which is held at each club day. You have to be present to win the $50.
This is drawn at the same time as the raffle. Talking of that, if our attendance is low, we may only offer a bottle of wine as a prize. We need to cover our costs.
New Members
I have been informed that some people who have joined the Society have not been welcomed in the newsletter. Apologies! Please take this as your welcome and we hope that you will get a lot out of the Society.
