Shingle Bob
An old-timey blues band performing mostly pre-war, early pre-electric blues from the1920s and ''30s. The line-up is female vocalist, finger-style guitar on Dobro and Stella guitars, six-string bass and percussion on brushes or washboard. Our repertoire spans a time period from 1890s spirituals to songs by more modern performers such as Janis Joplin, Jolie Holland and Norah Jones as well as classic blues from the likes of Bessie Smith and Geeshie Wiley.
